ABOUT HOWE SOUND MARINE
Located in the Howe Sound at Lions Bay Marina, our team has been serving recreational boaters, commercial operators, and cabin owners for over 30 years. Founded in the early 1990’s with Keith Maynard at the helm, Howe Sound Marine quickly built a reputation across the North Shore for reliable engine sales, service, and repairs.
In the winter of 2024, Howe Sound Marine was acquired by Port Boat House Ltd — based in Port Alberni on Vancouver Island. With this transition, we’re proud to operate as a subsidiary of one of British Columbia’s largest Yamaha Elite Dealers, further expanding our collective capabilities and customer support.
We provide comprehensive marine service, including routine maintenance, advanced diagnostics, major engine repairs, repowers, and new engine sales. Our experienced team of six technicians includes certified specialists in Yamaha, Mercury/MerCruiser, and Volvo Penta. We also offer full marine electronics service and installations, including Garmin, Lowrance, and Simrad systems.
At Howe Sound Marine, customer care is at the heart of everything we do. Our goal is to be friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable — treating every customer’s boat as if it were our own.
